Sarah Kendall wins the Piece of Wood award

The Melbourne International Comedy Festival’s 2014 season came to a close over the weekend and the 2014 Awards were announced on Saturday 19 April. Among the winners was Sarah Kendall who won the Piece of Wood award for her show, TouchdownThe Piece of Wood Award is awarded during the Melbourne International Comedy Festival to the best show as voted by a committee of comedians which includes all past winners of the award.A piece of wood is awarded to the winner and it is traditional for the recipient to bite the award.
