Rosie Nicholls is an actor, comedian and performer, and one-half of the sketch comedy duo Grubby Little Mitts
Rosie trained as an actor at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, working in theatre and puppetry for six years before creating her first sketch comedy show as part of double act Grubby Little Mitts, winning the Amused Moose Comedy Award in 2022 for their debut show.

Rosie trained as an actor at Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, working in theatre and puppetry for six years before creating her first sketch comedy show as part of double act Grubby Little Mitts, winning the Amused Moose Comedy Award in 2022 for their debut show. Grubby Little Mitts has subsequently appeared at Soho Theatre, Machynlleth Comedy Festival, GICF, LCF, on two UK tours and in four Edinburgh Fringe runs to sell out audiences and critical acclaim (Wee Review 5*, Scotsman 4*, Chortle 4*)
Rosie is an original cast member on the popular YouTube panel show No Rolls Barred, for whom she also worked as producer and director across their content portfolio, including two seasons of their in-person “Blood On The Clocktower” series (currently over a million views online). Other video directing credits include the mockumentary “Open To Work” featuring Ken Cheng and Mark Silcox, the web series “Consider Yourself Ruby”, the music video “Angelica” for Tom Byrne, and a string of online sketch comedy for Grubby Little Mitts.
As an Edinburgh Fringe producer, Rosie has worked with The Mayor and His Daughter (Telegraph “Comedy Stars of Tomorrow”) and Jess Carrivick (Buxton Fringe Best Show Nom), as well as Grubby Little Mitts for five years including the only WIP sketch comedy night in London “Sketch Book”. Rosie is a guest comedy tutor at The New Actor’s Centre through her workshop series “Sense of Humour”
