Paul McKeown is originally from the UK and is a comedy writer, director, and performer with a rich background in comedy writing, and script editing. He began his career as an animator, contributing to major studios such as Warner Brothers, Walt Disney Animation, and DreamWorks.
In 2004, Paul co-founded One Hand Clapping, a creative boutique specializing in intellectual property development, direction, script editing, and digital comedy.
Through One Hand Clapping, Paul directed music videos for artists including Elton John, Mark Ronson, and Dido. He wrote and directed the “Ten Worst Things” web series for the Fuse network, which garnered millions of views. His expertise extends to animation scriptwriting and editing, with collaborations involving Disney, Netflix, Cartoon Network, and Canal+. Notable projects include serving as a writer and script editor for Netflix's "Angry Birds: Summer Madness" and contributing to Disney's "PJ Masks."
Most recently he was the Head writer for ‘Dragon Striker’ Disney’s first ever serialized anime, a 22x30 series coming to Disney + in early 2026.
