Saturday saw the 66th annual Writers Guild of America Awards. PBJ are overjoyed to say that Simon Blackwell, Armando Iannucci and David Quantick won the best 'Comedy Series' award for 'Veep'. Since the show first aired on HBO in 2012, 'Veep' has gone on to win a variety of awards and reach critical acclaim. 'Veep' is one of the few comedy series to win both Actors Guild and Writers Guild of America Awards in the same year. We are thrilled that their outstanding writing skills have been recognised and look forward to the next series.
