Jonnie is an award winning Writer & performer. Uniquely, he works across live performance, theatre making, and Literature. As Creative Director of award winning theatre partnership Caligula’s Alibi, his work has had sell out runs at London’s Soho Theatre, and in Edinburgh. Caligula are currently under commission at The Soho as part of their Soho Six Crop of Artists.
In 2015 He was the youngest ever recipient of the prestigious Sky Academy Arts Scholarship for his debut Novel ‘Pleasureland’ and debut solo show ‘My Pain Is Better Than Your Pain’ Which will be developed with the Barbican and The Soho Theatre.
As an actor for television he has appeared in BBC3’s Some Girls & BBC2’s Count Arthur Strong, and has appeared on Radio Four as a speaker/social commentator.
In 2016, A special Southbank Show fronted by Lord Melvyn Bragg was made about Jonnie’s work and broadcast on Sky Arts.
